The treatment of dyslipidemia has gotten a lot more complex in recent years as we now have several non-statins that can substantially lower LDL cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular event rates - including PCSK9 monoclonal antibodies, ezetimibe, bempedoic acid, and inclisiran.
